Our Projects

The projects we support lie at the heart of the One Foundation. Through the dedicated efforts of our funding partners, we are moving closer to our vision of a society with equal opportunities. To this end, we support and initiate organisations and projects in areas such as education, career guidance, scholarships and empowerment.

Since the foundation's establishment, we have supported over 30 projects in six countries.

We have provided a total of over €3 million in funding.

Education

Building schools in Salima (Malawi)

In order to give children in Salima a chance at getting an education, the One Foundation is building schools in cooperation with local stakeholders.

Four schools and a nursery have already been opened, supporting more than 2,262 children.

Career Guidance

Fighting youth unemployment

The aim of PLAN A (JOBLINGE) is to inspire young people to pursue vocational training.

Social media campaigns, school visits and personal coaching serve to actively pique young people’s interest in the labour market, with the aim of helping address the shortage of skilled workers.

Gastro Akademie

The Gastro Academy run by Über den Tellerrand kochen München e.V. gives people with a refugee or migrant background the opportunity to train for a job in the catering industry.

A variety of courses make it easier for participants to learn their craft and start a career.

Digital skills for refugee women

Kiron's digital learning platform helps women with a refugee or migrant backgrounds gain a foothold in the IT sector.

KoALA supports newly arrived apprentices in Germany by providing language training, tutoring and daily life support.

Empowerment through IT boot camps

ADA empowers young people for careers in IT. With digital bootcamps and personal guidance, even those without top grades or a school leaving qualification can access career opportunities.

Coaching for job integration

With the help of Stiftung Deutsche Depressionshilfe und Suizidprävention, young people who have been long-term unemployed and suffer from mental health issues can more easily re-enter the job market.

Scholarships for equal oppportunities

The One Foundation has been awarding scholarships to certain apprentices in the hotel and catering industry since 2023.

Supporting young people from different social backgrounds and accompanying them on their educational journey is one of the One Foundation's core missions.
